“Mika provided by far the most amazing Reiki treatment that I have ever had. It was a blissful experience.”

I contacted Mika after an upsetting diagnosis for my fur baby (an 8 year old Labradoodle), I wanted to ensure he is happy and ensure that he is in a great space for healing and wellbeing.

Mika communicated with him and afterwards we organised a Reiki treatment for both myself and my fur baby.  Having had Reiki previously I knew what to expect but Mika provided by far the most amazing Reiki treatment that I have ever had, I could feel the energy moving though my body, it was a blissful experience.

My fur baby, not having a great attention span, wandered in and out of treatment with Mika, I could see his little eyes blissfully closing whilst Mika was treating him.  In the midst of his wandering he sat with Mika and lent in to her.  In 8 years he has only done this with my Dad, my partner and I, never before has he shown that affection for someone he has just met.

He was clearly very relaxed with Mika.  Mika had researched a couple of things in respect of his issues and discussed with me some practical approaches in addition to the Reiki.  Mika is someone who very clearly cares and we are very much looking forward to our next Reiki treatment which we have already organised.

We do not have any issues with our dog at home, but he shows fear based aggression when he is out for a walk, which has been emotionally exhausting for all of us.

After reading the session notes, I realised the importance of leadership and started practising basic obedience training such as not letting him walk in front of me during the walks.

I used to wonder if firm training would be suitable for a little fearful dog, but I decided to harden my heart and work with him as if this would be our last chance.\

It has been a while since we started this training.  Our walks have become less exhausting and stressful.  I can walk him head high feeling much more relaxed.

Mika is INCREDIBLE! Her ability to communicate with our four legged babies is just amazing. Benson and Ranger are our children. Benson joined our family at 8 weeks then around 3 months later Ranger (18 months) arrived as a rescue. I had Mika connect with the Ranger so he was aware of the changes that were about to happen. He settled straight in. Benson wasn't overly thrilled when he arrived but after a session with Mika, he calmed a lot towards Ranger. Mika has an amazing gift for connecting with animals and assisting in speeding up the healing process. My very active 9mth old Burmese kitten Neo, had an irritation in his eye and he was clearly very uncomfortable.

After having him checked by the vet, they still couldn’t find anything in his eye, or any obvious scratches. So we just went home with some ointment to apply for 3 days.

However, over that time there was no improvement and he was still suffering from this mysterious irritated eye.

I reached out to Mika at this time, because I understood the power of Reiki and energetic healing and thought it could help. I sent her Neo’s picture (where you could clearly see his sore eye) so she could work her magic. Mika said it may take a few days to see an improvement.

The fantastic thing was we didn’t have to wait that long. Neo’s eye was completely back to normal and looking healthy by the next day. It was such a relief to see him back to his bouncy self.

Mika has made an incredible difference to many of the dogs currently looking for their forever homes at Monika’s Doggie Rescue.

She has, in particular, made an insurmountable difference to one of our long term residents who, due to her fear of strangers, would shut down seeing new people and experience distress and tension. She had one human friend but was very scared to let anybody else in.

Since Mika has been working with her, the change has been just sort of a miracle. Her eyes are no longer unreadable. They have softened and are free of fear. She wags her tail (something I had never seen in the years volunteering at Monika’s) and runs to the fence when called, jumping up and taking treats from our hands. What is truly remarkable is that she now allows some of us to pat her.

Mika helps our doggies to find peace and relaxation during their healing sessions and Mika has been so committed, patient and gentle whilst working with our girl and, without her, these changes would most likely never have occurred.

Mika gave my 13.5 year old cattledog, Maxy, a life changing consultation I will forever be grateful for.

We had moved twice in 6 weeks (we were temporarily at my mothers, which is on a main road – had never lived there whilst new home was coming through).

Mika was able to speak to Maxy without knowing we were on a busy road, he asked about the buzzing sounds (which were cars) and was sad about not seeing grandma and uncle every day. Mika explained he now had two homes and they would come every week to see him which Maxy was very happy about.

Maxy was getting up at night and sleeping in the lounge room in our new home which he had never done before at our old place. Mika also picked up on this and said he had some anxiety which was relieved by the open air. She recommended CBD oil for dogs which has made a huge difference!

I was taking Maxy on different routes in our new neighbourhood each day – Mika spoke to Maxy and he said he wanted to go the same way until he got to know the area, again this was a HUGE help.

I loved this so much from Mika – particularly as we were moving and my stress levels were up I was literally saying sorry all the time!

By the way, do you sometimes apologise to him by saying, “Sorry, Maxy” as you sort things out? He wants you to stop apologising, because he understands and is ok. He asked me how he can let you know that it’s ok. I shared with Maxy that this is your way of interacting with him. To help him understand what I mean, I explained to him that sometimes when you have visitors and you get in their way, you say sorry to them too. I told him that he can just say, “It’s ok, Mummy.” particularly as we were moving and my stress levels were up I was literally saying sorry all the time!
